Cathy Dawn Avery, 58, of Amarillo died Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Cathy was born May 23, 1956, in Friona to Bud and Bernice Crump. She graduated from Amarillo High School in 1974 and on Dec. 24, 1975, Cathy married Bob Avery. She loved gardening and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Bob Avery of Amarillo; three daughters, Farron Urbanczyk and husband Greg of Hereford, Lacy White and husband Chris and Katelyn Avery, all of Amarillo; two sisters, Cindy Kunselman of Austin and Carolyn Richards of Albuquerque, N.M.; a brother, Ed Crump, of Leander; and six grandchildren, Dylan, Gavin, Colton, Evan, Christian and Nolan.

The family suggests memorials be to Gentiva Hospice, 3232 Hobbs Avenue, Amarillo, TX 79109.
