Amarillo Globe-News (TX) - Tuesday, April 3, 2007
Theresa "Tery" Jeanette Hagan, 51, of Amarillo died Saturday, March 31, 2007.
A memorial worship service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday in River Road Fellowship Church with the Rev. Johnnie Thomason officiating. Arrangements are by Cox-LaGrone Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.
Theresa was born March 13, 1956, in Amarillo, was raised here and has been a resident here her entire life. She had worked for Palo Duro Canyon and later St. Anthony's Hospital as a registered nurse. Theresa was a member of River Road Fellowship Church, and was active with the prayer chain and card ministry. One of her great passions in life was animals. She considered them to be part of her family. Theresa enjoyed arts and crafts, fishing, and being outdoors. Her unfailing faith and sense of humor is what made her who she was. She placed her trust in God, and is now "dancing a waltz with Jesus."
Survivors include four brothers, Pete Hagan and wife Donna of Lexington, Ky., Dane Hagan and wife Billie of Amarillo, Kenneth Hagan of Canyon and Joseph Hagan and wife Nicole of Bullhead, Ariz.; two sisters, Barbara Deise and husband Maurice of Mesa, Ariz., and Nora Duncan of Amarillo; special friends, Johnnie and Lori Thomason of Amarillo; her pets; and her church family.
The family suggests memorials be to River Road Fellowship Church, 503 E. Willow Creek Drive, Amarillo, TX 79108.
