Angelita Sierra Munoz, 54, of Amarillo died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Southlawn Assembly of God with Jerad Middaugh officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Cox-LaGrone Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Mrs. Munoz was born Oct. 12, 1955, in Victoria. She had lived in Amarillo since 1958 and was raised by her grandparents, Juan and Lupe Gonzales. She was a member of the Amarillo High School Sandie class of 1974. She married Cesar Munoz in 1973 in Amarillo.

Angelita worked at Boots 'n Jeans for more than 10 years and also worked for the American Quarter Horse Association for eight years. She last worked at Roda Concrete for six years. She loved life, she loved singing, and she loved spending time with her family. She was a member of Southlawn Assembly of God. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Survivors include a daughter, Amy Rodriguez and husband T.J. of Amarillo; a son, Jonathan Munoz and wife Kelly of Amarillo; her children's father, Cesar Munoz; her father, Jessie Sierra of Seminole; her mother and stepfather, Corrine and Andrew Alonzo; five brothers, Jesse, Ismael, Raymond, Thomas and Tony Sierra; a sister, Angie Sierra; a stepbrother, Mario Alonzo; a stepsister, Josie Fernandez; five grandchildren; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
