Born: 1/2/1920, Ringgold, TX     Ringgold is an unincorporated community in Montague County, Texas, United States, with an estimated population of 100 people. It is approximately 20 miles (32 km) northwest of Montague, the county seat.  When Mary was 2, after the untimely death of her father, Tom, her mother, Allie moved the family of four children to Canyon.
