After graduation I went to Amarillo College with many of my friends for AHS. Between my sophomore and junior year I worked at Glorieta Baptist Conference center in New Mexico. I then graduated from Stephen F. Austin with a degree in Interior design. I moved to Dallas with Jan Carpenter and worked at a furniture store for 9 years. During that time I took a sabbatical and spent 6 months in Hawaii with Youth With A Mission. Then I graduated from Asbury Seminary in 1989 and started working at a church in Pennsylvania as a Christian Education Director. I moved back to Amarillo in 1993 to work at Saint Stephen Church. It was good to be back home. However, I moved back to Pennsylvania in 1996 to be the Children's and Singles' Pastor at the same church as before. Met Dave, and we married in 1997. Then we had Matt in 1999. And we adopted Stefan in 2002. I retired in 1999. Dave was a statistician in the pharmaceutical industry but is now retired. We love to travel.
